Minutes November 8, 2007 meeting
SFCC Present: David Dell, Dennis Fallon, Erwin Marques, Ron Patterson, Gerry Post, Jeff Seltzer, Tom West
Staff/Town: Jerry Toner, John Hampton
Minutes: The Minutes of the October meeting were accepted.
Financial Report: October marked the forth month in a row for record golf revenues.
Restaurant Contract: Board of Selectman approved the new one year contract with a one year optional extension.
Maintenance Facility: The sub-committee (Patterson, Post & West) provided a brief overview of the first meeting held with Gerry Toner and Orlando. Preliminary layout of Orlando's proposed 8000 sq, ft, facility was reviewed. A second meeting with Orlando and Mike Wallace is scheduled the end of this month. At this meeting we will explore the "pros and cons" associated with centralization. The estimated size of a centralized facility will be a major driver as we continue to gather information.
2008 Golf Fees: Minor increases in daily fees and season passes were recommended. In addition, the committee recommended adding a "twelve pack", "silver (25) pack" and "gold (50) pack" to generate additional revenue. In addition, it was agreed that Advertising would begin earlier this spring to stimulate sales/revenue.
Annual Report: The Committee reviewed and approved the FY 06-07 annual report for the Town.
